The 3M 6800 Full Facepiece Reusable Respirator from the 3M 6000 Series is engineered to provide comprehensive protection against particulates, gases, and vapors in demanding industrial environments. Featuring a soft silicone face seal, this medium sized respirator delivers enhanced comfort and a secure fit for extended wear. The high impact polycarbonate visor offers a wide field of vision while meeting ANSI Z87.1 2003 high impact requirements for face and eye protection.
Equipped with a well balanced four strap head suspension system, the respirator is easy to put on and remove. Its unique center adapter directs exhaled breath and moisture downward, reducing valve debris buildup and simplifying cleaning. The integrated 3M™ Cool Flow™ Valve helps reduce heat buildup and makes breathing more comfortable during prolonged use.
NIOSH approved when used with compatible 3M filters, cartridges, or supplied air systems, the 6800 respirator provides flexible protection solutions. It is compatible with a wide range of 3M™ Particulate Filters (such as 2091, 2097, 7093), 3M™ 6000 Series Gas/Vapor Cartridges (including 6001-6009 and 60921-60929), and can also be used with 3M™ TR-600 and TR-800 powered air systems or dual airline supplied air systems. Ideal for applications such as chemical handling, grinding, welding, painting, laboratory work, and construction, this respirator is intended for workplace and occupational use only.
