Description
The HRC 2 Arc Flash Protection Suit is engineered to protect electrical workers operating in environments with arc flash hazards of 12 cal/cm² (ATPV) or less. Constructed from 8 oz Protera® fabric a blend of Nomex®, Kevlar®, and antistatic fibers the suit offers inherent flame resistance that lasts for the life of the garment. Its single layer ultra soft construction ensures breathable comfort while maintaining reliable protection against heat, flames, and minor splashes.
Designed as a two piece jacket and trouser combination, the suit allows excellent freedom of movement during extended electrical tasks. The garment features non flammable NOMEX® double stitched seams for enhanced durability and safety. Central FR zippers are protected with coat flaps, while the quick release zip system enables rapid removal in emergency situations.
For added safety, the suit includes silver fluorescent slow burning warning bands tested according to EN 20471 standards for visibility. Additional features such as FR knit storm cuffs with hook and loop suppression tabs and an elastic trouser waist with FR central zipper enhance fit, protection, and wearer comfort. This professional arc flash suit complies with international standards for electrical PPE.
