Description

The Kestrel 1000 Wind Meter is a reliable and easy to use instrument engineered for precise wind speed monitoring in a wide range of outdoor and industrial applications. Featuring a simple 3 button control system, it offers intuitive operation along with a high contrast, sunlight readable monochrome LCD display. The blue white backlight ensures visibility in low light conditions, making it suitable for day and night use.

Designed for rugged performance, the Kestrel 1000 is drop tested to MIL STD 810G standards and waterproof to IP67 (submersible up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). It includes minimum, maximum, and average reading functions, as well as a convenient data hold feature for capturing measurements. The hard slip on protective cover enhances durability while maintaining portability.

Compact and lightweight, the device is powered by a CR2032 battery and comes complete with a certificate of conformity (spec sheet), instructions, lanyard, and protective cover. Its durable construction and accurate performance make it a trusted tool for professionals and outdoor enthusiasts alike.

How to Use

Insert the CR2032 battery and power on the device using the control buttons.
Hold the meter directly facing the wind flow for accurate measurement.
Use the buttons to switch between current, minimum, maximum, and average wind speed readings.
Press the Data Hold function to freeze the reading if needed.
After use, place the protective cover back on and store safely.
