Description

The Extech WTH600-E-KIT Wireless Weather Station Kit is a comprehensive weather monitoring solution designed for reliable indoor and outdoor measurements. Developed by Extech, this kit helps users make informed decisions by tracking weather conditions that impact daily operations and outdoor activities.

The system includes an indoor wireless base station with a large, easy to read LCD that displays indoor temperature, humidity, outdoor weather data, date, and time. The outdoor wireless transmitter comes fully assembled and features five built in sensors, including temperature and humidity sensors, wind cups for speed, a wind vane for direction, and a self emptying rain collector for rainfall measurement.

Operating on low power radio frequency, the transmitter sends data up to 150 meters to the base station, ensuring dependable long range communication. The weather station supports multiple measurement units, records minimum and maximum values with time and date stamps, and provides relative or absolute barometric pressure readings for advanced weather analysis.

How to Use

Install the outdoor wireless transmitter in an open area and place the indoor base station inside your workspace or home. Power on both units to begin receiving real time weather data automatically displayed on the LCD screen.
