Description

The Extech 407730 Digital Sound Level Meter is a compact and dependable instrument designed for measuring sound levels in industrial, environmental, and workplace settings. Manufactured by Extech, it delivers ±2 dB accuracy with a fine 0.1 dB resolution, ensuring precise and consistent readings.

This sound level meter supports both A and C frequency weighting, making it suitable for general noise assessments as well as higher level sound measurements. It features fast and slow response times to accurately capture fluctuating or steady noise levels. The built in 0.5-inch (12.7 mm) electret condenser microphone ensures reliable sound detection across the full measuring range.

Designed for convenience and portability, the Extech 407730 includes AC analog output for external data recording and analysis, along with Max/Min recording to track noise variations over time. Lightweight and easy to operate, it is supplied with batteries and a microphone windscreen for immediate use.
