Description

The Amerex B456 10 lb ABC Fire Extinguisher uses a specially fluidized and siliconized mono ammonium phosphate dry chemical to deliver powerful, versatile fire suppression. For Class A fires, the agent melts at approximately 350°F, forming a protective layer that chemically insulates burning materials. For Class B fires, it smothers flames and breaks the chemical chain reaction, while remaining non conductive and safe for use on energized electrical equipment (Class C).

Built with a dependable drawn steel cylinder and finished with a durable high gloss polyester powder coating, this extinguisher is designed for long service life even in demanding environments. The all metal valve construction, anodized aluminum valve body, and chrome plated brass components ensure strength, corrosion resistance, and consistent performance across a wide temperature range from -65°F to 120°F.

How to Use

Mount the extinguisher in an accessible location using the included wall bracket. In case of fire, pull the pin, aim the nozzle at the base of the flames, squeeze the handle, and sweep side to side until the fire is extinguished.
